Ponytail Palm Beaucarnea Recurvata Live Potted Plant in 4” Pot.  Bulbous trunk tapering upwards to multi stemmed, fountain shaped foliage.  Ponytail palm, also known as elephant’s foot are one of the easiest indoor trees to keep alive.  They can grow 4ft+ indoors but grow very slowly.  Can be kept slightly underpotted to reduce growth if needed.  If faster growth is desired re-pot yearly.  They prefer bright light to full sun, like a sunny window with direct sun.  Water lightly every 1-2 weeks during the growing season and less in winter.  A fast-draining succulent blend will work well for ponytails.  Feed plants a slow release fertilizer in spring, no winter feeding is needed.  Ponytails will need some pruning of dry leaf ends and brown leaves as they grow.  Pet and child safe and can be air purifying as well.
