Organic Loofah Starter Plant

Loofah Starter Plant Botanical Name -Luffa cylindrica Very healthy Loofah Plants in 4” pots. You can grow these in pots or put them into the ground. You can plant loofah for eating benefits or eco friendly sponges and body scrubs. Luffas are known in Asian Cuisine as “Cee Gwa.” Harvest them for eating when they are 2-6″ long. They can be eaten like a cucumber, or chop and stir-fry with chicken, bamboo shoots, or cashews. Each vine could yield up to a dozen or more loofah sponges. Realistically I would say to expect six good sized loofahs per vine. Once you have harvested your loofahs, you can cut them in pieces, so they are more manageable and last longer too!   -All plants are grown in our small home organic garden. -We use 100% all natural organic/heirloom seeds -100% all natural organic soil. By growing our seeds in 100% organic soil, with all natural fertilizers that avoid harmful chemicals the results are healthy rich nutrients and beneficial microorganisms that lead to healthier plants. We use 100% reverse osmosis water with natural added minerals, and do not spray any harmful pesticides and herbicides.
