Echinopsis Chiloensis Var. Borealis

You will receive a roughly 3″ plant.  Echinopsis chiloensis var. borealis is a spiny columnar cactus from Coquimba, Chile.  It enjoys more frequent watering and added lime/bonemeal to soil.  Can reach 8 meters tall.

To care for Echinopsis chiloensis var. borealis, provide well-draining soil and ample sunlight, preferably 6 hours of direct sun daily. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry between waterings, especially during its dormancy period in winter.

Fertilize with a balanced cactus fertilizer in the growing season. Protect from frost, as it’s not cold-hardy. Prune dead or damaged growth as needed. Keep an eye out for common pests like aphids and scale insects, and address them promptly with organic solutions.
