Asian Snow (Wrightia Antidysenterica) is a rare small flowering plant that is native to the tropical climate of Sri Lanka. It has shiny, green leaves and produces star-shaped, white flowers all year round as they mature. In their native country, they used the leaves to treat skin disorders like psoriasis.
Asian snow is perfect indoors and outdoors. When planting indoors, plant them in a container and place them in an area where they can get enough sunlight to thrive, outdoors, plant them in the ground to make an excellent addition to a landscape garden. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and moist but well-drained soil.
Asian snow is easy to grow, low maintenance, and easy to care for once established. Allow the soil to dry before watering them, and make sure there is an excellent draining hole in the pot to prevent root rot. Fertilizing them once a month during their growing season in spring and summer using a mineral fertilizer will help them produce more flowers and grow healthy.
The only way to propagate them is via cuttings and seeds. Watch out for aphids or mites. Use insecticidal soap or neem oil to eliminate them.
